Ok that was quick
This morning Kim and I drove to the outpatient service in Palmdale. We checked her in, signed paperwork and before I had a chance to think, Kim was in and out of surgery. It went well and she's resting now. Unfortunately she'll have to endure pirate jokes for the next 24 hours, at least, but I don't think she'll care once she is able to see. Thanks for the well wishes and I'll try to sneak in a pirate photo, if Kim will let me.

We are glad to hear that Kim is done with the surgery and that things went well - oh the image that comes to mind "Kim the Pirate". Heal fast - your students will be oh so lonesome for you...or they will be plotting what they can do when you return to school. Take care Kim - and LISTEN to Marjorie. (See, I'm trying to help you M.)

One eye at a time?
Yes, one eye at a time. She'll have the next surgery on Thursday next week. She says the difference thus far is no less than amazing!
